Martyn Buttenshaw has worked closely with several of Pala Investment's portfolio companies including Sierra Rutile, Norcast Wear Solutions and Melior Resources, where he assisted in their execution of strategic plans, growth projects, product marketing strategy, development of corporate governance and achievement of operational goals. Prior to joining Pala Investment in 2010, Mr Buttenshaw was a business development manager with Anglo American in its ferrous metals business unit. His primary responsibilities centered on the review and evaluation of potential iron ore investments globally. Mr Buttenshaw also spent 5 years working as a senior mining engineer with Rio Tinto in their technical services and industrial minerals groups. He is a director of Melior Resources and was previously a director of Sierra Ruitle and Asian Mineral Resources.
