Martin Stulpner has a broad ranging commercial experience in resources.
For more than a year and a half, he has led Aquila Resources' Iron Ore commercial team which was responsible for maximising the value of Aquila’s stake in the West Pilbara Iron Ore Project. Prior to that, Mr Stulpner had overall responsibility for Aquila's Southern African projects. Prior to joining Aquila in 2012, he spent 3 years as a senior research analyst at Macquarie Securities in Perth, covering emerging leaders and established producers in the iron ore and other resources industries. Prior to Macquarie, Mr Stulpner held various senior strategy, commercial and corporate finance roles at Anglo American in Johannesburg over 8 years.
An applied mathematician by training, he is a CFA Charterholder.
