Martin Bryant has extensive international business experience with a particular focus on Asia, having worked in various senior management roles in China, Vietnam and the Philippines for over 20 years.
From 2007 to 2015, Mr Bryant was managing director and chief executive of WesTrac China, a Caterpillar equipment dealer servicing China’s Northern Provinces which account for more than 60% of China’s mining activity. During his tenure, Mr Bryant had direct exposure to China’s domestic iron ore and steel industries. He led a significant expansion of the business and managed a major restructure to suit the economic downturn. Prior to that, Mr Bryant held senior management positions with other equipment companies. He was finance director and company secretary for Vietnam-based V-TRAC Holdings, chief operating officer and then president for Philippines-based Monark Equipment, and re-joined V-TRAC Holdings as general director.
Mr Bryant graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Business.
