Mark Thomson has over 25 years of combined experience within the oil and gas, process industry and consulting sectors.
Mr Thomson spent five years as an expert consultant within McKinsey and Company’s Petroleum Asset Excellence team, where he implemented transformational change and operational efficiency programs for top-tier clients in the oil gas and industrial sectors. He had also developed expertise around climate risk and industrial decarbonisation, having acquired a passion for it while collaborating on McKinsey’s sustainability practice.
Prior to McKinsey, Mr Thomson spent 20 years in management, operational and technical roles in upstream and downstream oil & gas and chemical companies where he successfully managed the operations of high performing oil and gas assets.
