Mark Pullen holds an Honours degree in Physics from the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England. His studies included developing a computerised patient treatment planning system for combining CT and X-ray images in cancer treatment. Mr Pullen has an extremely broad foundation of industrial experience in mechanical and electrical engineering while working in the railway industry in the UK, and serving as a marine engineer in the Royal Navy. He moved into IP initially as a patent examiner in the UK Patent Office in South Wales. Mr Pullen's interests covered a broad spectrum of mechanical and electrical technologies, taking in subjects as diverse as vehicle engine management systems and borehole telemetry through to coin discrimination and product packaging systems. In July 2000, Mr Pullen decided to emigrate to Western Australia and qualified as a patent and trade mark attorney with Watermark.
