Chevron MD takes global role
Mark Hatfield has been appointed to lead Chevron Australia, replacing Al Williams who has been made global vice president of corporate affairs.
Mark Hatfield joined Chevron in 1982 as a production engineer in New Orleans and has since held various senior executive roles in the US offices including as asset development manager, general manager of planning, general manager of upstream strategy & planning, and vice president of its Gulf of Mexico business unit. He became managing director of Chevron Australia and head of the Australasia business unit in March 2021 and is based in Perth, Western Australia.
Mr Hatfield holds a Bachelors degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma, and a Masters degree in Civil Engineering from the University of New Orleans.
