Mark Goodlet has a first class honours engineering degree and postgraduate qualifications in Business and Project Management. He has considerable experience in local government as a qualified civil engineer, consultant and an executive manager.
Mr Goodlet’s career began with a traineeship at Main Roads WA as a design draftsman, followed by a TAFE Civil Engineering Diploma and a Cvil Engineering degree at Sydney’s University of Technology. He was a consultant engineer while on a working holiday in the UK before moving to Dunsborough and gaining his Chartered Engineer status. Working in private firms designing and building wineries, Mr Goodlet was also director of technical services for the Shires of Busselton and Augusta-Margaret River, and ran his own company as a consultant prior to working at the City of Nedlands, Town of Mosman Park and the Shire of Waroona.
