Mark Fatharly has over 21 years’ experience both as counsel and instructing solicitor in commercial and general civil litigation in a range of courts and tribunals. He is also an accredited mediator, chair of the Society of Trust Estate Practitioners (STEP) in WA, and a director and board secretary of STEP Australia. Mr Fatharly is recognised in Doyles Guide as one of five leading legal practitioners in Western Australia in Wills and Estates Litigation. His litigation experience includes contractual, leasing, construction and business disputes, injunctions, trade practices issues, debt recovery, liquor licensing, intellectual property and compliance with professional obligations as well as trust, inheritance and guardianship and administration applications. Mr Fatharly has also prosecuted and defended regulatory offences, overseeing the prosecution of more than 150 individuals per year for the protection of drinking water sources for the Water Corporation.
