Big wins for WA in Albanese ministry
Anthony Albanese has announced his 23-person cabinet with some major responsibilities for Western Australians in the outer ministry.
Mark Dreyfus is an Australian politician and a member of the Australian Labor Party, representing the Division of Isaacs since 2007.
Mr Dreyfus is also an attorney who served as the 35th Attorney-General of Australia in the Albanese Government and previously in the second Rudd Government. Following the Labor Party's victory at the 2022 federal election, Mr Dreyfus also took on the role of Cabinet Secretary under the Albanese government.
Prior to entering parliament, Mr Dreyfus was a barrister for over 20 years, practising in commercial, defamation, constitutional and environmental law. In 1999, he was appointed Queen's Counsel.
