Mark Dawson is an expert on Melbourne’s property market. He has a strong track record in residential economics consulting in Australia and internationally. Mr Dawson specialises in residential and mixed-use projects; and has advised banks, governments and developers on opportunities in Australia, the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
Before joining Urbis in 2012, Mr Dawson was a senior consultant at global real estate advisory firm Cushman & Wakefield. He now leads Urbis’ residential property economics and research Team in Melbourne, overseeing research, advice and publications that help clients identify the opportunities of tomorrow.
Career highlights include establishing Urbis’ Melbourne Apartment Essentials - a quarterly report that examines market trends, prices and opportunities. He also wrote the successful bid to designate Discovery Park, one of the largest R&D facilities in Europe, an Enterprise Zone.
