Marion Fulker AM was the inaugural chief executive of the Committee for Perth. She took up the position from January 2007 to January 2023. Prior to that, she was executive director of the Urban Development Institute of Australia WA Division.
Ms Fulker was a councillor of the Heritage Council of Western Australia from 2005-2015 and was appointed chair in 2009. She was also the inaugural chair of the Conservation and Parks Commission, serving one term from 2016-2019. Ms Fulker is a board member of Infrastructure Australia and chair of the Zoological Parks Authority.
In 2021, Ms Fulker was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to urban planning and infrastructure development.
