Maria Leftakis

Mrs Leftakis is currently the Chair of Morrow Sodali, Asia Pacific. In this role, Mrs Leftakis is also responsible for advising on acquisitions and growth opportunities. Prior to this, she was the firms CEO for Asia Pacific and a member of the global Executive Committee, responsible for the groups business performance and growth strategy. As the Managing Director of a number of shareholder advisory businesses, including Georgeson Shareholder Communications (2000 - 2006, acquired by Computershare Limited) and Global Proxy Solicitation Pty Ltd (2006 - 2017, acquired by Morrow Sodali), Mrs Leftakis has become advisors in this space, using her entrepreneurial experience to advise many ASX listed companies on issues including M&A, demergers, activism response and capital restructures.
