Margaret Crowley
Non-Executive Director / Lions Eye Institute
Dr Margaret Crowley AM is an experienced chief executive and board director, and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
She held senior executive positions in state and national governments, in universities and not-for-profit sector. Dr Crowley was chief executive of the Association for the Blind of WA for 15 years.
Her PhD focused on the perceived role of professional women in the United Nations Secretariat in New York.
In 2023, Dr Crowley was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to community health, and to people with low vision.
