Camel milk producer secures $4.4m state grant
Commercial camel milk producer Good Earth Dairy has been awarded a $4.4 million grant by the state government to help build a camel milk processing facility in Perth.
Marcel Steingiesser has over 14 years of chemical engineering experience in the mining industry (primarily with BHP Billiton) leading operations management, analysis and business improvement.
Mr Steingiesser became the managing director and chief executive of Good Earth Dairy in March 2016, and is responsible for the A$3.5 million investment attraction as well as the strategic building of the company’s R&D program that developed the design of a niche camel dairy and the know-how to enable efficient scale and production of camel milk and powder at prices significantly below market price.
