Rotto urged to get its act together
A COMPLETELY rewritten Rottnest Island Authority Act is long overdue, according to the state's tourism industry.
Dr Elizabeth (Liz) Constable AM was a WA politician who retired from politics in 2013, and was WA’s longest-serving female state MP. She served 22 years in the state Parliament, including as Minister for Education from 2008 to 2012. She was awarded an honorary Doctor of Letters from the University of Western Australia in March 2013. In 2019, Dr Constable was made a Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to the people and Parliament of Western Australia, and to education.
