Liane Papaelias has extensive experience in senior executive roles and as a non-executive company director in the not-for-profit sector.
Ms Papaelias has been the chief financial officer of Wanslea Family Services since February 2018, and a stint as interim chief executive from February to September 2022. Prior to Wanslea, she spent 12 years as chief financial officer and company secretary at the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia (Western Operations) where she led financial strategy, asset management and reporting. She was also chief financial officer of Autism Association of WA, management accountant of Murdoch University, and director of finance and administration at Perth College.
Ms Papaelias holds a Bachelor of Business from Edith Cowan University, is a Fellow Certified Practising Accountant, and a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
