Leo McManus has been involved in banking and finance all his working life and is a member of the executive team at Keystart Home Loans.
He has been actively involved in community groups and has been a member of the Claremont-Nedlands Lions club for 32 years, holding many executive positions. He is also a part of the Lions/McCusker Foundation for Alzheimer's Disease Research Partnership committee, life member & past president of the Claremont-Nedlands Cricket Club, member and treasurer of the Claremont St Vincent de Paul Society, and a member of the St Thomas Claremont parish council.
Cr McManus was elected a councillor at the City of Nedlands in 2011, became a deputy mayor, and appointed acting mayor in February 2021.
He resigned from Nedlands council in May 2024.
