Learne Durrington has extensive experience working in senior executive and chief executive roles within the government and not-for-profit social enterprises, with particular talents around strategy development and execution and in undertaking large change management programs for complex organisations with multiple stakeholders.
She started her career as a social worker. Her industry expertise is in aged care, health, mental health, child protection and disability services. She has also provided consulting services including strategy development & execution, change management, project management, planning studies and business case development, business specifications for IT systems, policy analysis and advice.
Ms Durrington is an Associate Professor of Health Sciences at Curtin University.
She holds an MBA, is a Fellow of the Australian College of Health Services Management, and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
