Leah Weckert
Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director / Coles
Leah Weckert has been with Coles since November 2011. She was general manager of various divisions before becoming a director of strategy, people and culture in November 2017, chief financial officer in March 2018, and chief executive of commercial and Coles Express in April 2022. In May 2023, Ms Weckert became the first woman to take the helm as chief executive of Coles in the group's 109-year history.
Prior to joining the Coles Group, Ms Weckert spent a combined 6.5 years at McKinsey & Co's Melbourne office as a senior business analyst and associate principal.
She holds a Bachelor of Science (Organic Chemistry, Physical and Inorganic Chemistry), a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering), and an MBA with high distinction.
