Kylie Groves is a senior practitioner with extensive experience in advising government and non-government clients across all areas of employment, workplace relations, discrimination, health and safety law. Prior to commencing a legal career, Ms Groves worked for more than 10 years in industrial relations, including several years as an associate to the president of the Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission and over 8 years with the Australian Industrial Relations Commission (during which time she held an appointment as a deputy industrial registrar). She has unique experience in relation to union rules, including eligibility rules and considerable experience in advising and assisting registered organisations. In addition, her practice includes defending clients in health and safety prosecutions, conducting large scale investigations into employee misconduct, presenting seminars and training on workplace law issues, and conducting health and safety audits. Ms Groves has been listed for several years in The Best Lawyers in Australia in Occupational Health & Safety, and is listed as a recommended Employment and Workplace Health and Safety lawyer in Western Australia in Doyle’s Guide.
