US-based Randall King Nelson has over 30 years of experience with medical devices.
Mr Nelson has been the chief executive of Q'Apel Medical, a medical device company which focuses on neurovascular disease. Prior to that, he was the president and chief executive of Uptake Medical Corporation, a company that has focus on treatments for emphysema and lung cancer; president and chief executive of Kerberos Proximal Solutions, which was acquired by FoxHollow Technologies; and president & chief executive of VenPro, a heart valve business acquired by Medtronic. Mr Nelson had also spent 19 years with Baxter International and American Hospital Supply Corporation in various executive roles including as division president for Dade Diagnostics, Bentley Labs, and Baxter's Perfusion Services.
