Farmer appointed Children’s Court magistrate

Lawyer Kim Farmer, daughter of AFL legend Graham ‘Polly’ Farmer, has been appointed as a magistrate at the Children’s Court of Western Australia.
Kim Farmer, daughter of football legend Polly Farmer, is a Noongar woman with extensive experience working in a number of industries including Native Title and Land Heritage, government, and not-for-profit Aboriginal organisations.
After many years practising law, including as a criminal defence lawyer at the Aboriginal Legal Service, Ms Farmer established Farmer Legal and provides legal services in criminal law matters across all court jurisdictions within Perth metropolitan and regional Western Australia including the Children’s Court, Magistrates Court, District Court and the Supreme Court of Western Australia.
Ms Farmer is a patron & vice chair of the Graham (Polly) Farmer Foundation.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Bachelor of Arts, and Post-Graduate Diploma of Arts in Anthropology.
