Kevin Torpey

Kevin Torpey was a Chartered Professional Engineer with over 40 years of experience in the development of many projects involving oil, iron ore, aluminium, nickel, lead/zinc, uranium, magnesite, coal and gold located locally, in Ireland and Indonesia.

He had worked for Consolidated Goldfields, EZ Industries, Alcan, International Nickel, Tara Minerals (Ireland), Noranda, Denison Mines (Canada), Toyota, Mitsubishi and Iwatani. Mr Torpey was also a corporate officer, a managing director of Denison Mines (Australia) and Devex, and a consultant to several companies involved in mining projects and new technologies.

Mr Torpey passed away in February 2022.
