Keith Wilks spent over 27 years in the ports and maritime sectors.
He was the chief operating officer of Southern Ports Authority from January 2020 until May 2023 when he took over the helm as chief executive. Southern Ports include the ports in Albany, Bunbury and Esperance.
Mr Wilks had previously held senior roles at the Port of Newcastle and Svitzer.
