Katie Lahey AM has extensive experience in the retail, tourism and entertainment sectors. She had held chief executive roles within the public and private sectors.
Ms Lahey is a director of Carnival Corporation & a member of the National Indigenous Culinary Institute Advisory Board. She was chair of Carnival Australia and Australasia chair of Korn Ferry International; and a board member of David Jones, Australia Council Performing Arts, Hills Motorway, Australia Post and Garvan Research Foundation.
Ms Lahey holds a Bachelor of Arts (1st Class Honours) and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Melbourne where she was awarded top student in the MBA for her year.
Ms Lahey was also awarded a Member of the Order of Australia for her services to business and the arts, and a Centenary Medal for her contribution to Australian Society in the area of Business Leadership.
