Chief Information Security Officer / WA Police Force
Karen Owens has held the position of Chief Information Security Officer for the WA Police since November 2020. Prior to this, she was the Manager of Information Security, Risk, and Governance for Edith Cowan University and also held the position of Perth Chairperson for the Australian Information Security Association.
Karen is a highly respected leader who has led motivated and successful teams in all aspects of information security and risk management. Additionally, she is a strong advocate for workplace diversity and equality.
