Karen Gair has over 20 years of fundraising and development experience.
Ms Gair has been the campaign director at St John of God Health Care since February 2022. Prior to that, she was managing director of San Foundation, the charity supporting Sydney Adventist Hospital which is NSW’s largest private hospital. Ms Gair had also held leadership and management development positions in a variety of medical and educational institutions including Australian National University, Macquarie University, Monte Sant’ Angelo Mercy College, Hammond Care and Kincoppal-Rose Bay School of the Sacred Heart.
Ms Gair is an internationally-recognised Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and holds an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management. She is also a current Brains Trust member of the Fundraising Institute of Australia.
