Kanaga Dharmananda has a broad commercial litigation and arbitration practice with emphasis on resources, finance, projects, and insolvency matters. His practice covers schemes of arrangement, company law including directors’ duties, access and pricing disputes, and international investments.
Mr Dharmananda has acted as counsel in a wide range of high profile and high value commercial disputes in Court, on appeal, and in arbitrations within Australia and abroad.
His practice as senior counsel spans a broad area of work including from the mining, energy, and commodities industries; and has published in the areas of contract, equity, and arbitration.
Mr Dharmananda is a Visiting Fellow at the UWA Law School, teaching International Commercial Arbitration. He is a founding director of the Perth Centre for Energy and Resources Arbitration.
