Julie Spencer

Julie Spencer has over 14 years of experience working in finance at a senior level for institutional grade private equity fund managers and for top listed companies listed on the ASX and NYSE. She started her career in Perth holding traditional roles in accounting and finance before moving to London where she began specialising in private equity real estate and funds management, achieving vice president and associate director experience. In 2006, she commenced working for an international fund manager owned and controlled by Macquarie Bank, MGPA (now owned by BlackRock). Having gained significant experience in senior debt and restructuring during the global financial crisis, Ms Spencer was approached by Europa Capital Partners to lead their corporate structuring division. Returning to Perth in 2015, she was head of project funding at Aurizon where she worked on the West Pilbara Iron Ore Project. Ms Spencer has a Bachelor of Business double degree in Business Law and Accounting from Edith Cowan University, and is a Fellow of CPA Australia.
