Julie Harris
Principal / Carmel School
Dr Julie Harris has extensive local and international educational leadership experience, including at high performing schools.
Dr Harris completed her PhD in Education with her thesis enabling her to directly influence classroom practice.
Dr Harris was a lecturer and head of department in the UK before arriving in Western Australia in January 2004 where she has held teaching and executive leadership positions at Guildford Grammar School, Christ Church Grammar School and St Hilda’s Anglican School for Girls. She became the principal of Carmel School in January 2022.
Dr Harris has also worked with the West Coast Eagles coaching team as a ‘teacher of teachers’.
