Professor Julie Cogin is the director of the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) and Deputy Dean at the University of New South Wales Business School. Prior to her current appointment, she held numerous senior leadership appointments at the University including Deputy Dean Engagement, Head of School (Management) and Associate Dean Education.
Prof Cogin is a recognised thought leader in high performing workplaces, leadership and corporate culture, having authored several books and published in the world’s top academic journals. As an educator, she has received national and international teaching awards and spoken publicly about disruption in education extensively. Prof Cogin has over 25 years’ experience leading education & consulting engagements for many leading companies throughout Australia, Asia and USA.
In 2016, she was named as one of Australia’s 100 women of influence for her work to address the gender leadership imbalance.
Prof Cogin has a PhD in Organisational Psychology, Master of Education, Bachelor of Business, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
