Josh Wilson is a member of the Australian Labor Party, and was elected to the House of Representatives for Fremantle in 2016.
Mr Wilson is a long-time Fremantle local with a strong record of public service and leadership in local government. He has dedicated over 12 years to public and community service in the electorate.
Mr Wilson was appointed Shadow Assistant Minister for the Environment under Anthony Albanese's Shadow Cabinet in 2019. He was a Councillor at the City of Fremantle and deputy mayor from 2011 to 2016. In his work with previous federal members, Carmen Lawrence and Melissa Parke, Mr Wilson helped deliver dozens of community projects like the new Cockburn Super GP Clinic, the Jandakot Fire & Emergency Services HQ, and the Coogee Surf Lifesaving Club.
