Joseph Rapanaro is the managing director of SVN, a US company which entered into a partnership arrangement with Perth's Vicus Property Group in 2019. He also co-founded Vanilla Property Investments in 2009, with the company establishing 13 syndicates investing in over $150 million of property, before joining with the Baron Property Group to co-invest in future syndication opportunities in a new venture called Baron Vanilla Management in January 2021.
After graduating from university, Mr Rapanaro commenced work as a property manager in a mid-tier commercial real estate firm and was solely responsible for the management of a portfolio of 150 properties.
Mr Rapanaro became a licensed valuer in 1999 and moved into sales & leasing in 2000. In 2004, he established his own real estate business which was later renamed Vicus Commercial. The company then acquired a strata management business and established a residential arm to provide a complete service to the property market.
Mr Rapanaro holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Property) and a Diploma in Financial Planning. He is also a Licensed Valuer, a Licensed Real Estate Agent, and a member of REIWA.
