Disability scheme changes planned for 2021
Australians with disability have been promised clearer decision making time frames for support services when major changes are introduced next year.
Jordon Steele-John became a Greens Party senator for WA in November 2017 at the age of 23, following the resignation of Scott Ludlum.
Prior to entering parliament, Mr Steele-John dedicated his time to youth and disability advocacy and was also a student of Politics at Macquarie University.
Mr Steele-John was named the McKinnon Emerging Political Leader of the Year in March 2019 for his leadership as a disability advocate.

Australians with disability have been promised clearer decision making time frames for support services when major changes are introduced next year.
WA Labor amassed a significant fundraising advantage this past financial year as unions, law firms and sitting members opened their wallets to fill the party’s coffers.
Planned changes to Australia's disability support scheme will see participants viewed as a number, not individuals, peak groups warn.
More than $60,000 was spent by federal WA MPs on Facebook advertising over the past three months, according to recent financial disclosures published by the social media giant.
The state government will need to decide whether it opts out of provisions to make housing more accessible.
The Member for Curtin likened funding without reform in WA's social housing space to having “an ambulance at the bottom of the cliff”.
