Joost Heymeijer is a hotelier and hospitality specialist with over 20 years of experience in global hotel and hospitality management.
He has worked for some of the world’s most renowned travel and tourism brands including Emirates Airline in Dubai; Emirates Hotels & Resorts in Sydney; and the Emirates Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa which is Australia’s first carbon-neutral wildlife and conservation-based lodge in the Blue Mountains, and was named Best Australian Hotel three years in a row (2011-2013) under his leadership.
In June 2022 Mr Heymeijer became the inaugural chief executive of Z1Z, the lifestyle business of Andrew Forrest's Tattarang. Prior to that, he was a senior consultant for a Netherlands-based hospitality and coaching consultancy in conjunction with other roles focused on sustainable luxury and experience-based tourism in Europe.
