Jonathan Taylor has over 25 years of experience in a range of technical and asset management roles within the international oil and gas industry.
Mr Taylor is a founding partner at Havoc Partners LLP. He also co-founded Ophir Energy in 2004 and was its deputy managing director and executive director of new business.
Mr Taylor started his career with Amerada Hess in the UK before moving to Clyde Petroleum where he was involved in international exploration including postings to Yemen and Myanmar. He relocated to Perth in 1998 to take up the role of technical director at Fusion Oil & Gas, which built an extensive portfolio focused on Northwest and West Africa. Fusion was listed on the UK AIM market in 2000 and made several discoveries offshore Mauritania before being sold in 2003. Following the sale of Fusion, Mr Taylor became one of the two founding executive directors of Ophir Energy, serving initially as its technical director.
Mr Taylor is a non-executive director of Helium One and Citra Partners.
