Jonathan Shellabear has over 30 years of experience in the Australian and international mining and financial services industries, with extensive knowledge across technical, commercial and financial disciplines.
Mr Shellabear was a geologist, resources analyst, senior corporate executive and investment banker with NM Rothschild & Sons, Deutsche Bank and Resource Finance Corporation.
He was the managing director of private equity and corporate advisory firm Sirona Capital, managing director and chief executive of Dominion Mining which was subsequently acquired by Kingsgate Consolidated in 2011, and managing director of Heron Resources. He joined the board of Capricorn Metals in 2016 as non-executive director, became chief financial officer following a company restructure in March 2017, and took on the role of joint company secretary in May 2017.
Mr Shellabear holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Geology, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Western Australia.
