Jonathan Davey

Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director / Tyro Payments

Jonathan Davey has over 25 years of experience in corporate, consulting and startup businesses. He has worked with leading Australian and international companies, and co-founded a technology startup.

Mr Davey joined Tyro Payments in May 2021 as chief executive of Medipass after Tyro acquired Medipass, and was appointed Tyro's group chief executive in October 2022. Prior to that, he was accountable for digital, innovation and customer experience at National Australia Bank. Mr Davey is the founder of National Australia Bank’s Innovation and Corporate Venture Capital teams.

He is an advisory board member of Finspo, a Fintech focused on the digital origination of mortgages, and is also on the technology and innovation advisory board for the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
