Jon Hronsky

Dr Jon Hronsky OAM has over 35 years of experience in the mineral exploration industry, primarily focused on project generation, technical innovation and exploration strategy development. Dr Hronsky has particular expertise in targeting for nickel sulfide deposits, but has worked across a diverse range of commodities. His work led to the discovery of the West Musgrave nickel sulfide province in Western Australia.
Dr Hronsky was manager of strategy & generative services at BHP Billiton Mineral Exploration. Prior to that, he was global geoscience leader for WMC Resources.
In 2019, Dr Hronsky was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia for services to the mining sector.
