This year’s Rising Stars awards attracted 52 entries from a wide range of business sectors, all committed to innovation and growth.
John Wood has extensive experience in retail, property, sales and marketing, business management and tourism.
He was the founder and managing director of National Lifestyle Villages (NLV), and is currently in a sales and marketing role. NLV won the Telstra WA Business of the Year award in 2007. Mr Wood also founded Providence Lifestyle Group in January 2019.
Prior to that, Mr Wood established and managed the growth of Fleetwood Corporation’s manufactured homes division. He grew this business to be a market leader throughout the 1990’s and was appointed an executive member of the industry association for 15 years in varying capacities including President.
Mr Wood was also awarded the Rothwell’s Young Entrepreneur Award and the West Australian Young Achievers Award.
