John Walker

John Walker has over 30 years of leadership experience within the mining and advanced materials processing industries.

He has been providing strategic advice to lithium mining and refining projects in the USA and UK, and was chair of Exawatt who provide strategic consultancy services to the battery industry.

UK-based Mr Walker was chief executive of The Quartz Corp (a joint venture between IMERYS and Norsk Mineral), a mining and processing company that supplies the world’s highest-purity quartz to the solar, semiconductor and fibreoptic markets. He was a key player in driving its business development, growing the company from a new entrant to the second-largest player in the high-purity quartz market during his 6-year tenure.
