John Toll

John Toll has over 15 years of experience in corporate advisory, focusing mainly on mergers & acquisitions and financing transactions across a range of industries including mining, technology, general industrials, biotech and infrastructure. He has advised local and international clients on transactions ranging from private capital raisings for early-stage companies through to strategic and transformational M&A for established businesses.

Mr Toll has been the managing director of Canaccord Genuity's advisory presence in Western Australia since February 2024.

Prior to that, he was an associate of Azure Capital for over 15.5 years, and spent over two years working for a UK-based investment bank offering equity capital markets and advisory services to an international client base. With a particular focus on the natural resources sector, he advised clients in Europe, Africa, South America and Asia. Mr Toll started his career within the assurance and advisory division of KPMG in Perth.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and Finance, completed the Institute of Chartered Accountants CA Program, and has a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance.
