Dr John Tarrant is a Professor of Law at the University of Western Australia. He has a distinguished academic career including a Doctorate of Juridical Science, 2 Masters degrees, 4 Bachelor degrees and 6 Postgraduate Qualifications.
Dr Tarrant has had a 40-year career in diverse roles within the accounting and finance, legal, mining, oil and gas industries. He has held accounting, corporate mining management and mining entrepreneurial roles; including 25 years as an entrepreneur.
Dr Tarrant is a member of CPA Australia, FINSIA, The Tax Institute, the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, and the New South Wales Bar Association. He is a Public Notary in New South Wales.
