John Streicker

New York businessman John Streiker was chair of Sentinel Real Estate Corporation which owns and managed billions of dollars of direct real estate investments, including apartment units and commercial space.

He acquired Yallingup Protea Farm and some vineyards in Margaret River in 2002, at the end of a holiday to the region. A decade later, he bought the adjoining Clairault Wines.

In 2015, Sentinel, now run by his son Michael, entered the WA market with land purchases and subsequently started its build-to-rent fund management model in Subiaco, a move considered an Australian first.

Mr Streicker passed away on March 10, 2022.
