The new financial year has triggered a series of changes at the top of Perth’s big law firms with senior partners leaving MinterEllison, Clayton Utz and Freehills.
With the new financial year commencing this week, a number of Western Australia’s lawyers and accountants will be celebrating the fact as new partners of their respective firms.
SPECIAL REPORT: Law firms are having to adapt as more businesses build in-house legal teams and squeeze billing rates.
Two-and-a-half years after entering the Australian market, Squire Sanders is set to expand its international reach through a merger with fellow US law firm Patton Boggs.
John Poulsen, who has been a prominent fixture in Perth’s legal scene for many years, is planning to retire from his current role and seek chief executive opportunities.
