John Pereira formed a partnership with Cornwall Stodart Lawyers where he became the deputy managing partner. He was Head of Corporate Advisory for Burdett Buckeridge Young in 2000. Subsequently, Mr Pereira formed Alchemy Corporate Advisors with Burdett Buckeridge Young to promote corporate advisory and capital raising for small/mid cap clients. In 2004, Mr Pereira established Tristar Corporate Advisors. Mr Pereira was the founder and chief executive of India Equities Fund which listed on the ASX in 2007. He also created Olympus Funds Management. Mr Pereira has maintained interest in India, his country of birth, and is a former president (Victoria) and deputy chair of the Australia India Business Council. Alongside Mr Pereira's commercial activities, he has been admitted to the Supreme Courts of NSW and Victoria for over 20 years.
