He started his career at Freehill Hollingdale & Page (now known as Herbert Smith Freehills), later becoming a partner at the firm where he was recognised as one of Australia’s leading corporate and M&A lawyers. From 2003 to 2008, Mr O'Sullivan was general counsel of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia before spending ten years at Credit Suisse Australia where he was executive chair of investment banking and capital markets for Australia until February 2018.
