King & Wood Mallesons has broken with tradition and become the first major law firm in Perth with a fully open-plan office.
John Naughton has been with King & Wood Mallesons' Perth office since 1978. He became a partner of the banking and finance group since 1985 and was partner-in-charge of the Perth office from 2013 to 2020. Mr Naughton has extensive experience in corporate, project and structured financing. As a partner based in Perth, the emphasis in his practice is on resource and energy financing.

King & Wood Mallesons, which ranks as the fourth largest law firm in WA, has expanded its local office with two lateral hires, Carl Black and Sam Dundas.
