John McGrath

Executive Director, Founder / McGrath Holding Company

John McGrath is one of the most influential figures in the Australian property industry.

He took McGrath Holding from a lounge room startup in 1988 to become one of Australia's most successful integrated real estate service groups. He was a founding director of the REA Group and served on its board from 1999 to January 2018, including as chair from 2003 to 2007.

In 2008, Mr McGrath was honoured by the Real Estate Institute of NSW with the Woodrow Weight OBE Award, a lifetime achievement award for his outstanding contribution to the real estate industry.
