John McGloin
Non-Executive Director / Perseus Mining
John McGloin is a geologist and graduate of Camborne School of Mines. Mr McGloin worked in the mining industry in Africa before moving into consultancy. He joined Arbuthnot Banking Group following four years as a mining analyst at Evolution Securities. Mr McGloin is was head of mining at Collins Stewart.
Over the years, Mr McGloin acted for many mining companies including African Platinum, Randgold Resources, Avocet Mining, European Goldfields and Titanium Resources Group. Mr McGloin was chair and chief executive of Amara Mining and joined Perseus Mining in April 2016, following the scheme of arrangement between Amara Mining and its shareholders becoming effective.
